AM Skincare

I wrote an entire post about my skincare journey a few months ago and stick 100% true to this routine! Drunk Elephant has completely changed my skin in every way possible and I am so grateful for it. I know that it is expensive, so this is a great time to hop on and invest in your skin! If you’re looking to just start out and dabble in some of their products, I recommend starting with the littles or their new ‘Get Even’ set. You can see how I implemented each product into my routine on my original blog post.

The most asked question I have gotten since this post is a form of ‘is this really worth it?’- y’all…look at the results! This ain’t no joke! I originally took before photos for myself, so I could see if it was working. Once I saw such transformational results, I felt obligated to share with you all! Remember that blogging is not my full time job, this is just a fun thing I like to do to share my tips and tricks with you guys. Since the Drunk Elephant post, I have actually had several other companies reach out to me to test their product and I politely decline. I wrote about DE, DE is what is changing my skin, so I’m sticking to it (for now at least!)

Daytime Make Up:

Bare Minerals Conceler (color: Light)

Bare Minerals Tinted Mosturizer: This has a ton of coverage for a tinted moisturizer, as well as SPF 30. Bare Minerals is a brand that Drunk Elephant recommends because it is free of the suspicious six ingredients and shouldn’t make you break out. I have two colors- Buttermilk & Suede- I use Buttermilk when I don’t have any tan, Suede when I have a spray tan/some color and when I am in-between, I mix the two together to make my perfect blend.

More Coverage Foundation: Tom Ford Foundation Stick- I use this when I am wanting a full face of make up for an event at No.14 or a wedding etc (color: FAWN)

I 100% use three mascaras every single day- I layer them in this order:

Chanel Le Volume (not sold at sephora)
Nars Mascara
Stila They’re Huge

Bronzer/Highlighter/finishers

Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Golden Light

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick online only (Color -Bronze)- I just use this in the crease of my cheek as a small contour

Charlotte Tilbury Photo Finish: This is an amazing product. I use it daily as a highlighter on the top of my cheek bone. I also mix it into my tinted moisturizer when I’m working from home and just do a tint and some mascara- It gives you an extra glow that is SO pretty.

Brow Gel- Use this everyday as my last step! I do it last to make sure no make up goes on top of it and looks cakey

CHEMICAL PEELS & MASKS:

Baby Facial- My favorite skin clearing mask - they have a new mini version which I love for those who are just trying it out!

Summer Fridays: My favorite moisturizing mask- Love this in the mornings with an ice roller (or an ice cube in a paper towel)

Alpha Beta Peel: If you have been following for a while, you know I used to be obsessed with Dr. Dennis Gross and while I kinda broke up with Dr. Gross for my new boyfriend Drunk Elephant, I still think these peels are some of the best out there (a GREAT time to snag with them being on sale)

Black Tea Facial: I have used this for almost 5 years! One of my fav masks ever that I almost always ask for for Christmas. This mask makes you feel ALIVE. It wakes you up and gives your skin the most amazing feeling. I forgot to ask for it for Christmas this year and ran out about a month ago and waited for the sale to buy- so you better believe this is in my cart rn to snag on sale! Cannot wait to get it back into my routine.

Drunk Elephant Retinol : use 2-3x per week mixed with one pump of hydra serum and 2-3 drops of Marula Oil NOTE: I never add retinol to my skin after using the Alpha Beta Peel or after using Baby Facial- Only on freshly cleaned skin and no masks- using the retinol is my form of chemical peel on nights when I use it!
