Hi guys! It’s been a minute.

There are lots of exciting things happening, and it felt like a bit of a reintroduction was due. So, if we haven’t met yet, hi, I’m Bri. Welcome to the blog. I’m so glad you’re here.

First in the list of exciting things to update you guys on is the house! We officially moved into our new home (#HOUSEOFKORDS), in November 2021, and I’ve had so. much. fun. getting to furnish and decorate our space. It’s slowly but surely coming together, and I’m loving sharing all of the exciting updates with you guys. It truly feels like we’ve all been doing this together as you guys share my enthusiasm for all the updates whether it’s a light switch or a fridge!

Another update, I turned 30 this year! While it mildly pains me to no longer be part of the “in my twenties” group, I’m excited to embrace all that’s ahead. As I approached this year’s birthday, I realized that so many aspects of my life were at a turning point. From my home aesthetic to No. 14 and Sister Bloom, everything in my life felt like it was shifting in a new direction. We needed a bit of a refresh. A “rebranding” if you will.

Now, before you get nervous, my love of pink and flowers hasn’t gone anywhere! Think of it more as a transition. I always want to be changing. Something I really pride myself on is my ability to throw something out and start fresh. I love a clean out. Love a fresh start.

When we decided to move forward with the “black house” idea, someone gave me a game-changing piece of advice. I called it my “nugget of wisdom.” It guided so many of my decisions. The advice? Go all in. Commit 100%. Don’t halfway do an all-black house. Follow through in every aspect. And I’m so glad we did.

I took that same mentality into our business this year. No. 14’s storefront is more like a second home to me than a workspace, and after 7 years, it was time for a refresh of my second home. We had some super exciting meetings and we’ve set out to elevate and update our storefront, online presence, and clothing brand, Sister Bloom.

Along with all the change, it only seemed fitting to give my personal blog a little love as well. So, welcome to the new and improved website!

Now for the fun stuff! I’ll give you guys a little tour of what all you can find on bri-conley.com. Overall, we wanted to create a more permanent place for all the info you guys want. Whether you’re looking to build yourself or you’re just curious, you can find all of home details under the #HOUSEOFKORDS tab. Beneath that, there are 2 sections: build and decor. “Build” entails all the nitty gritty details from flooring to cabinetry and paint colors. “Decor” is all the fun stuff: furniture, plates, pillows, etc. We’ll continually update both with allllll the details.

“Bri’s Picks” is a space for all of my favorite things. From my ride-or-die hairbrush to the sweatshirt I’m living in and even my trusty labelmaker, consider the “Bri’s Picks” tab a space for all my current faves.

We’ll also be adding more blog posts about all the topics you guys want more in-depth details on like my skincare journey, the home building process, behind the scenes of Sister Bloom, and lots more. We also want to make sure we’re giving you guys what you actually care about, so please let us know! You can submit comments through the “Let’s Chat” tab.
