Farm to Table Dinner

Every August my favorite local farm, Shenot's Family Farm, hosts a farm to table dinner. They bring in a chef who makes an incredible seven course meal using ingredients grown on the farm.

(think gazpacho served in hollowed out peppers, grilled corn on the cob and home made peach ice cream sandwiches) 

This is one of my favorite evenings of the year complete with a hayride around the farm, happy hour in a barn, and dinner served on a massive table in the middle of their apple orchard. This is my second year attending with my family and it is quickly becoming an end of summer tradition that we all look forward to.
