guys leopard is BACK and it is here to stay.  In the spring, I got line sheets from ONE brand for their fall product that had leopard shorts, skirts, pants, overalls, and jackets. I was mind blown by the amount of leopard in JUST THAT ONE look book.  The more I see it, the more I love it.  Some of my favorites:

The shoe I am seeing every where is this little 2-3 inch heeled bootie with a pointed toe and I am LOVING it for an elevated casual look.  Because I work on my feet all day, I cannot wear a heel higher than 3 inches (& frankly don't want to waste my money on something I can only wear on a 2 hour date). So this little heel is making me happy.

I'm picturing this shoe, with this sweater, these skinnies, and this lip as a serious staple fall and winter look.

Another massive trend is the white bootie. Designers dabbled in this last year, but I feel like there is a white bootie on every single page I’m seeing. I am thinking about investing in these ones. This brand is my absolute favorite shoe company, their shoes are worth the splurge because of the quality and comfort. Beyond that, I see the texture in this leather showing less wear & scuffing than a bootie with smooth white leather.

I've heard so many people express 'intimidation' in these style of jeans and I REALLY encourage you to try.  I am not at all advising against throwing out your skinnies (girl I LIVE for my high waisted skinnies- notably- these button fly ones are my favorite). But I also think it would be fun for you to dabble in the straight leg or wide leg jean realm.  Don't know what to wear with them?  People see to struggle most with what shoes to wear.  I recommend a mule (closed toe or open toe). These are my favorite mules I bought last year & was so excited when they made them again this year.  Another pair here and here.  Mules are one of the best transitional shoes you can own through fall while the weather is crisp, but not freezing.

My favorite jeans here:

You are going to see color enter fall in a big way.  Fall is usually full of muted purple, browns and olive tones- but this year, color is going to make a huge impact.  The color of the season is a rich MERIGOLD that is warm and happy. Beyond merigold, bold colors like emerald green and hot pink are going to show up in sweaters, blazers and jackets.  There is also going to be a huge show of pastels- particularly lilac, light pink and baby blue.

I am really into the unexpected 'fall palette' and cannot wait to execute

A few of my favorite sweaters in merigold, lilac and blush:

5 years ago, the 'arm party' was a serious trend along side the statement necklace. Fast forward to this season- hair accessories and earrings are THE ACCESSORIES.  Scrunchies, headbands, and statement earrings are all beginning to clutter the top of my dresser and I am totally fine with it.

I am especially loving the scrunchies and these lucite earrings!

Trends be on the lookout for winter:
Sherpa, Jaquard and corduroy- I’ll post some of my favorites on here once the shipments start showing up on sites!

Thanks for stopping by today! xo
